The Youth Services Grants Program provides grants totalling $5 million for youth early intervention and prevention programs to strengthen their connectedness to their family, school and local community.

Anglicare Victoria - Eastern Youth Services was granted $25,000 over 12 months (1/9/98 - 31/8/99) for the Anglicare Meridian Project.

The Minister, Dr. Napthine, said he anticipated that the subsequent Youth Services Program will be allocated for a 22-month period from September 1999 to June 2001.
