The Government is to intensify its ‘Millennium Bug – Step On It!’ campaign, in light of a ‘high level of apathy or disinterest among small and medium-sized firms.’

The Government will offer 10 free business information sessions throughout the State during October, during which expert panels and business operators who have successfully tackled the problem will present advice and assistance.

Since the launch of the ‘Step On It!’ Campaign in July, the Government has distributed 120,000 practical information booklets, it Millennium Bug Hotline has taken more than 4,200 calls and more than 9,000 people have visited its Millennium Bug website.
