Unemployment down and jobs at a record high in Victoria
Unemployment in Victoria has fallen to 7.4%, while employment levels have reached a record high, according to the June Labor Force Statistics released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics. In seasonally adjusted terms, employment in Victoria has grown by 37,900 during June to 2.19 million, the highest level ever recorded in the state.
