About "Victorian Political News"

State Member for Box Hill

Victorian Shadow Attorney-General

Welcome to Victorian Political News.

This site aims to go behind the trivia and the personality politics of the daily media and present solid information on subjects that really matter, drawn from official primary sources.

We cover developments across State Government, but concentrating on issues likely to be of interest to the general citizen who wants to be kept informed, or has an interest in a matter of general public debate.

As well, we try to touch on some broader questions about what makes good government - drawing on political philosophy, history, and  contemporary experience within Australia and overseas.

We aim to provide quality links to related sources which we have looked at and consider worth listing.  We maintain an other links page for those sites we have looked at but decided not to include on our main pages.

We can't aim to cover breaking or daily news, but our news links page may provide some leads.  We do aim to cover developments on a weekly basis, and we email copies of State Opposition news releases and occasional bulletins on other news and issues to subscribers to our mailing list.

For those who live in or have an interest in the Box Hill Electorate, our Box Hill pages should be your starting point.

Please feel free to contact us with any feedback or suggestions you may have.
